Bio

Nick Russell is an award-winning actor who has starred on Australian and international screens for 26 years.

As a commercials director, Nick has directed for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Samsung, Under Armour, Gatorade and the AFL. Nick directed the Hollywood television pilot, DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY, for the Emmy-nominated EUE Sokolow, and the AACTA-nominated short film, FAVOURITES, which screened at 12 Oscar-qualifying festivals around the globe, including Tribeca and Palm Springs (where it won ‘Best Comedy’), and earned Nick an Australian Directors’ Guild ‘High Commendation’ award. Nick is currently developing FAVOURITES (with co-writer Nick Musgrove) into a feature film with the support of Screen Australia.
